RDP was founded in 2010 as part of the Ecotelecom group of companies and specializes in the development of solutions for telecom operators and enterprises based on commodity platforms (x86).

• In 2013, RDP entered the Russian market of carrier-class solutions with the EcoNAT product, and sales to telecom operators started the same year.
• In July 2014, sales of the EcoBRAS and Eco3in1 started. EcoNAT was tailored according to the technical requirements of Rostelecom.
• In March 2015, a large-scale, ambitious project of EcoRouter development was launched.
• In November 2015, RDP won the major competition of Rostelecom PJSC for the supply of CG-NAT equipment for the IP/MPLS network. The competition was attended by all the world’s leading vendors. The solution of RDP showed the best results both in terms of technical requirements and price. It resulted in signing of the contract for the supply of CG-NAT equipment to 70% of the Rostelecom network.
• In November 2016, PJSC Rostelecom represented by the CommIT Capital fund and RDP closed a deal to bring 15% of the fund into RDP capital by increasing the authorized capital of the company.
• In December 2016, RDP released the first version of EcoRouter, the first Russian-made universal IP/MPLS router.
• In December 2016, RDP managed to carry out the first transaction on the sale of its equipment outside Russia.
• In July 2017, RDP announced the successful completion of the FSTEC certification procedure for EcoRouterOS, the operating system for universal IP/MPLS routers of the ER EcoRouter series. Thus, the product is officially recognized as suitable for processing confidential information.
• In August 2017, RDP solutions were included in the List of innovative high-tech products and technologies supervised by the Moscow Agency of Innovations. This document guarantees that state-owned companies and municipal customers get acquainted with the range of high-tech products and services, which are recommended to be purchased within the framework of current standards.
• In October 2017, the experts of Roskomnadzor tested EcoFilter, a specialized hardware-and-software system designed for URL filtering of network traffic. Analysis of results showed that the system completely solves the problem of blocking the access to blacklisted Internet resources and services.
• In November 2017, RDP presented its solutions at the GITEX international exhibition in Dubai (UAE). The same month RDP presented its new solution, EcoDPI Teracluster, at the 2017 Broadband Russia forum in Moscow.
• In March 2018, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona (Spain) RDP presented its new product, EcoQoE software subsystem for its EcoSGE platform. EcoQoE allows telecom operators to analyze the user experience of their subscribers constantly by tracking the Quality of Experience (QoE) metrics. This solution can be used by telecom operators in various scenarios, e.g., for retaining subscribers and promoting services.
• In June 2018, RDP entered the TOP 20 of the best IT solutions in Moscow. The Expert Council of the Road Show IT 2018 (the project of the Moscow Agency of Innovations) published the results of a competition for the best IT solutions in Moscow. Our EcoSGE platform formed a part of 20 best IT solutions.
• In 2019, RDP introduced the EcoSGE universal service platform with a Deep Packet Inspection functionality at the largest technology exhibition GITEX Technology Week 2019 in Dubai (UAE).
• In 2021, RDP expands its portfolio of solutions based on EcoSwitch programmable switches:
  — Comprehensive anti-DDoS solution EcoDDS with high performance up to 6.4 Tbps;
  — EcoTap solution, which allows pre-filtering, modification, distribution and transmission of traffic at terabit speeds.
